DNAJC5 and malaria: RIKPGSANK has been described as an HLA A03-restricted class I epitope that is part of a CSP long synthetic peptide vaccine candidate that elicited potent T cell responses in malaria naïve adults [29]; it is also present in peptide pools Cp7/Cp8 [24], though none of these two peptide pools have tested positive in our previous assays with PBMCs from malaria exposed individuals.
