Several CAR-engineered NK cells recognizing EGFR for breast cancer brain metastases (203), both ErbB2/HER2 (204, 205) (NCT03383978) upon intracranial injection, and EGFRvIII (206) for glioblastoma, GD2 for neuroblastoma (207), EpCAM for breast carcinoma (208), NKG2D for ovarian cancer (201), and both MUC1 and ROBO1 for advanced refractory solid tumors, have been produced for preclinical studies and phase I and II clinical trials (Table 2). This evidence concerns the gene KLRK1 and breast carcinoma.
