APOBEC3B and neoplasm: B16 melanomas stably expressing the HSVtk (Herpes Simplex Thymidine kinase) suicide gene and either wild-type, active APOBEC3B (APOBEC3BACTIVE) or the catalytically inactive APOBEC3B mutant (APOBEC3BINACTIVE)33 were established by subcutaneous injection of the respective tumor cells and allowed to establish for 7 days.
