In our study, the mean CD8+ T lymphocyte counts of our participants changed (significantly) from 711.12 ± 651 cells/μl to 789.27 ± 606 cells/μl in HIV uninfected and from 926.82 ± 384 cells/μl to 1062.47 ± 381 cells/μl in HIV co-infected TB patients after treatment. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and tuberculosis.
