Using a doxycycline‐inducible mouse model of mutant Kras, we showed that mice develop multiple invasive mammary adenocarcinomas within 147 days, while the additional overexpression of Mad2 delays tumour onset (221 days) and increases the levels of CIN in the resultant breast tumours (Rowald et al, 2016). This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and neoplasm.
