From in vitro studies, it was found that, after osthole intervention (10 μg/mL, 150 μg/mL, and 200 μmol/L) on HeLa cervical cancer cells, the expression level of Bax m-RNA and Fas was elevated significantly, while the expression level of Bcl-2 mRNA was reduced dramatically. This evidence concerns the gene BAX and cervical carcinoma.
