Although pharmacological modulation by the FoxO1 inhibitor AS1842856 (Figure 6) should ideally be confirmed by molecular biology studies such as siRNA knockdown experiments, besides clear convincing results obtained with the FoxO1 inhibitor AS1842856 (Figure 6), the clinical importance of FoxO1 expression was shown by analysis of publicly available bladder cancer expression data presented in Figure S6. This evidence concerns the gene FOXO1 and urinary bladder carcinoma.
