Furthermore, we constructed a HER-2-positive breast cancer xenograft tumor model in female mice; consistent with the effects observed in vitro, we found that mice treated with Compound C and aspirin showed tumors with a smaller size and lower expression of SREBP1 and SCD1 compared to those treated with aspirin monotherapy without affecting the overall wellbeing of the mice in all groups. This evidence concerns the gene SREBF1 and breast carcinoma.
