Figure 7B shows the mRNA level of CD4+, CD8+ and FoxP3 T cells in the tumor. In agreement with their level in the blood and spleen of the Met-2 group, CD4+ and CD8+ lymphocytes were significantly more abundant in the tumor microenvironment in comparison with the saline group. Similarly, the expression of FoxP3, the marker of T regulatory cells, was significantly reduced at the mRNA level in mice treated with the Met-2 schedule (Figure 7B). Here, CD4 is linked to neoplasm.
