The autonomic nervous system plays a fundamental role in modulating cardiovascular functions, including the control of blood pressure.11 Hypertension and disturbances in blood pressure regulation have been associated with Parkinson's disease12, 13, 14 and Alzheimer's disease,15 whereas peptides of the renin‐angiotensin system, a prominent therapeutic target in hypertension, have been implicated in the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases16 including HD, suggesting that hypertension impacts the neurodegenerative process. Here, REN is linked to hypertensive disorder.
