In addition, eight genes (i.e. calreticulin [CALR], protein disulfide isomerase family A member 3 [PDIA3], heat shock protein family A (Hsp70) member 5 [HSPA5], HSPA8, heat shock protein 90 alpha family class A member 1 [HSP90AA1] and HSP90AB1), involved in the antigen processing and presentation signaling pathway, were highly expressed in CRC. Here, CALR is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
