ITPKA and cancer: Weak interactions shape the cellular protein-protein interaction network, which is important for the cellular biological function, to explore the potential interaction with ITPKA we screened public available mass spectrometric data 11, we found ITPKA might interact with DBN1 (Drebrin 1), which is an F-actin related protein that remodels actin to facilitate the change of filopodia into dendritic spines during synaptogenesis in developing neurons 18, moreover DBN1 expression exhibits potential clinical significance in cancer patients and related with metastasis 19, 20.
