As presented in Table 1, compared to patients without RVMI, patients with RVMI were more likely to be male (65.1% vs 57.7%), have higher BMI (25.8 ± 7.2 vs 23.1 ± 6.5 kg/m2), higher serum levels of FBG (99.6 ± 13.4 vs 94.0 ± 12.5 mg/Dl), CRP (8.9 ± 2.4 vs 6.2 ± 2.1 mg/dL), BNP (1295 ± 340 vs 872 ± 166 pg/mL) and CTn-I (8.6 ± 2.9 vs 5.2 ± 2.1 ng/mL), and have diabetes mellitus (36.3% vs 3.4%) and dyslipidemia (53.4% vs 48.1%). Here, NPPB is linked to diabetes mellitus.
