While the first result is consistent with literature data reporting a low rate of ALK rearrangement in papillary or lepidic predominant, in situ and minimally invasive ADC [33, 34], most published studies obtained in Asian populations agree on the high prevalence of EGFR mutations in these ADC subgroups [32, 33], and more generally in nodules with ground-glass CT features [35].
