The area under the curve (AUC) of the ROC curves drawn for IL-36α, IL-36β and IL-36γ production were 0.68, 0.73 and 0.65, respectively (Fig. 2a), suggesting that IL-36β is slightly better than IL-36α or IL-36γ in terms of specificity and sensitivity for the detection of CRC. The gene discussed is IL36G; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
