Interestingly, only IL-36α (HR, 0.37; 95%CI, 0.16–0.87; P = 0.02), age (HR, 2.46; 95%CI, 1.04–5.83; P = 0.04) and tumour invasion depth (HR, 3.47; 95%CI, 1.34–8.99; P = 0.01) were found to be independent and reliable biomarkers in multivariate analysis for predicting survival rate among these CRC patients (Table 2).
