Our study shows that such cells (CD34+CD19+) are not limited to follicular lymphoma since we were able to detect them in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (WSU-DLCL2), Waldenström’s macroglobulinemia (WSU-WM), chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL) and other B-cell lymphoproliferative disorders (fresh patient-derived samples). The gene discussed is CD34; the disease is Waldenstrom macroglobulinemia.
