KANSL2 gene encodes the KAT8 regulatory NSL complex subunit 2 protein, which is a KANSL protein family member belonging to the complex of lysine acetyl-transferase KAT8/MOF-NSL, and recently shown to regulate glioblastoma’s cancer stem-like properties that contribute to tumorigenesis14. This evidence concerns the gene KAT8 and glioblastoma.
