Our previous study found the pro-inflammatory cytokines levels of soluble interleukin-6 receptor (sIL-6R), soluble interleukin-2 receptor (sIL-2R), C-reactive protein (CRP), and soluble tumor necrosis factor receptor type 1 (sTNF-R1) were significantly higher in BD patients than in UD patients, indicating more severe inflammatory dysregulations in BD than UD [32]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF1A and Behcet disease.
