HP and Rectal prolapse: Additionally, the Hp levels detected in the clinically healthy animals (median value 0.65 μg/mL (25th and 75th percentiles of 0.43 and 0.93, respectively)) were similar to those of the animals who suffered from fatigue (0.51 μg/mL) and slightly higher than those observed in animals with growth rate retardation (0.39 μg/mL); otherwise, higher median Hp concentrations were reported in the group of animals with lameness (2.02 μg/mL) and rectal prolapse (2.54 μg/mL) (Fig. 4a).
