- The inhibition of VEGF-induced proliferation of endothelial cells by preeclamptic amniotic fluid (AF) correlates directly with the levels of PRL and vasoinhibin (r = 0.599, p = < 0.05) - Birth weight inversely correlates with PRL and vasoinhibin concentration in preeclamptic AF (r = −0.576, p = < 0.05) - Serum PRL is higher in gestational hypertension (p = 0.032) in mild PE (0.027) and in severe PE (0.006) compared to normal pregnancy. This evidence concerns the gene VEGFA and preeclampsia.
