In this study, in the probiotic group, we observed significant reductions in circulating levels of TNF-α and IL-1β, as well as the levels of other important chemokines (GM-CSF, CXCL1, MIP-1α, MCP-1, and CCL5) that recruit inflammatory cells to the liver and accelerate the progression of liver disorders. The gene discussed is CCL2; the disease is liver disorder.
