Furthermore, we explored the function of UCA1 in renal cancer cells and found that inhibition of UCA1 expression through UCA1 shRNA could suppress tumor cell proliferation, inhibited cell migration and induced apoptosis etc. To get a better insight to the role of UCA1, we over-expressed UCA1 in 293 T and PRTEC cell lines and it is found that overexpression of UCA1 could promote cell proliferation, migration and anti-apoptosis. The gene discussed is UCA1; the disease is renal carcinoma.
