Recently, several COX‐independent modes of action of aspirin have been described that might contribute to its anticancer effects.12, 13, 14, 15, 16 Therefore, we next aimed to assess whether low‐dose aspirin treatment modulates two main pathways in CRC, namely the Wnt/β‐catenin and the NF‐κB signaling pathway in vivo in the AOM/DSS model. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and colorectal carcinoma.
