Table 1 illustrates the patients' characteristics. The mean (SD) age of patients at diagnosis was 47.86 (11.79) yr (with minimum and maximum of 17 and 84 yr respectively). The majority of patients was at stage II (41.60%), presented with grade II (52.36%) and did not experience metastasis (84.91%). Moreover, most of the patients were ER+ (71.27%), PR+ (68.36%), HER2- (76.36%), diagnosed with pathological type of invasive ductal carcinoma (90.19%) and underwent breast-conserving surgery (65.09%) (Table 1). Here, ESR1 is linked to invasive ductal breast carcinoma.
