Compared with the patients included in the present study, excluded patients werelikely to have more NYHA III or IV (11% vs. 36%, p < 0.001),higher BNP levels (median, 967 ng/dL vs. 1302 ng/dL, p =0.030), history of myocardial infarction (38% vs. 64%, p = 0.023), and lowerperceived control score (18.9±4.9 vs. 16.3±6.0, p = 0.027). Here, NPPB is linked to myocardial infarction.
