According to Globocan 2018, new breast cancer cases are estimated by 11.6% worldwide in 2018, and approximately 12% of these cases are triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) [1,2], which is an aggressive breast cancer subtype with no targeted therapy due to the absence of estrogen and progesterone hormone receptors with the lack of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2/Neu over-expression [2]. Here, ERBB2 is linked to triple-negative breast carcinoma.
