miRNA-148a restrains cell growth of papillary thyroid cancer by relating PI3K-AKT pathway.34 In the present study, the protein expression of elF4B and phosphorylation of PI3K and AKT were decreased significantly after overexpression of miRNA-331-3p, indicating that miRNA-331-3p may regulate downstream biological actions via elF48-PI3K-AKT signaling pathway. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and thyroid gland papillary carcinoma.
