Indeed, AURKB is frequently observed highly expressed in tissues from some tumors, such as non-small cell lung cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, astrocytic tumor, germ cell tumor, thyroid cancer and leukemia, and AURKB overexpression is associated with poor prognosis [4, 10–14].
