NOB1 was reportedly linked to the onset and development of various tumours and plays the role of an oncogene.23, 24, 25, 26, 27 A previous study showed that NOB1 levels were elevated in cervical cancer tissues and cell lines.28 Studies have also demonstrated that miR‐139‐3p inhibited cervical cancer cell proliferation, migration, and invasion and induced cell apoptosis through down‐regulation of NOB1 expression. The gene discussed is NOB1; the disease is cervical cancer.
