Consistently, calorie restricted Sirt2−/−; p53−/−; and Sirt2−/−; p53+/− compared to p53−/− and p53+/− mice showed significantly decreased overall survival (CR: Sirt2−/−; p53−/− vs. p53−/−p = 0.006 / Sirt2−/−; p53+/− vs. p53+/−p < 0.0001) and increased tumor incidence (CR: Sirt2−/−; p53−/− vs. p53−/−p = 0.009 / Sirt2−/−; p53+/− vs. p53+/−p = 0.001).
