Genes in CNGs enriched the endocytosis pathway (Table 4), including cancer-related genes STAM, RAB22A, PIP5K1B, ASAP1, and ARFGAP1 involved in early endosomes formation, membrane trafficking regulation, and internalising and recycling of junctional proteins (e.g. cadherins)44–49. The gene discussed is STAM; the disease is cancer.
