Recently, BRF2 was reported to beassociated with poor prognosis of patients with NSCLC through promoting tumorepithelial–mesenchymal transition.13 Also, BRF2 was identified as a novel lineage–specific oncogene in lung squamous cell carcinoma.14 However, it is still not clear whether BRF2 can interact with other factors, whichhave more critical functions in patients with NSCLC. This evidence concerns the gene BRF2 and squamous cell lung carcinoma.
