Figure 5a depicts the perturbation of genes in the ‘cell cycle’ pathway (KEGG 04110). Genes that encode proteins promoting cell cycle progression, e.g., c-Myc (MYC) and cyclins (CCN genes), are down-regulated while tumor suppressors such as Rb (RB1) and p15 (CDKN2B) are up-regulated (Figure 5b). This evidence concerns the gene CDKN2B and neoplasm.
