Here, we found that MUC1 is also significantly associated with SOX2 expression (Fig. 8f) and the NEPC score (Fig. 8g), an RNA-based NE expression signature4, supporting a MUC1-C→BRN2→SOX2 pathway in driving NE differentiation in advanced prostate cancers.
