These loci, including follicle stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), C9orf3, YAP1, RAB5B, HMGA2, TOX3, insulin receptor (INSR), and SUMO1P1 [6], are found to be associated with PCOS etiology by being involved in the synthesis of reproductive hormones, functional regulation of gonadotropin and insulin resistance [7]. This evidence concerns the gene FSHR and polycystic ovary syndrome.
