As a result, CNApp consistently localized the most frequently altered sub-cytobands, including gains at 1q21.3 (25%), 8q24.21 (17%, MYC), 5p15.33 (13%, TERT), 11q13.3 (12%, CCND1/FGF19) and 6p21.1 (11%, VEGFA), and losses at 13q14.2 (20%, RB1), 1p36.11 (18%, ARID1A), 4q35.1 (17%, IRF2) and 9p21.3 (14%, CDKN2A), which are in agreement with previous studies in HCC (Figure 3C and Supplementary file 2) (Chiang et al., 2008; Guichard et al., 2012; Schulze et al., 2015; Wang et al., 2013).
