Changes found were: venous blood gas analysis (100% pCO2 elevation, 75% HCO3 elevation, 70% acidosis), ferritin (72% elevated, 14% decreased), thyroid function (53% decreased thyroxine, 6% decreased thyrotropin), dyslipidemia (31% with elevated LDL, 25% with hypercholesterolemia), elevated urea (25%), elevated ALT (14%), hypoglycemia (14%) and anemia (9%). This evidence concerns the gene GPT and familial hypercholesterolemia.
