The univariate analysis found seven factors to have significant association with WS decline (<1.0 m/s): age (p < 0.0001), presence of LC (p = 0.0124), serum albumin level (p = 0.0011), M2BPGi (p = 0.0016), BTR (p = 0.0289), ECW to TBW ratio (p < 0.0001), and presence of SMI decline (p = 0.0037; Table 5). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and laryngotracheoesophageal cleft.
