The subgroup analysis demonstrated that a high level vs. a low level of MUC1 expression (HR = 1.99; 95% CI, 0.99–3.99; P = 0.05; P = 0.0001, I2 = 78%) or other MUC expression (HR = 2.09; 95% CI, 1.27–3.42; P = 0.003; P = 0.51, I2 = 0%) was associated with shorter DFS/RFS in patients with CRC. Here, MUC1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
