The cancer types Acute Myeloid Leukemia (with 11 subunits showing correlation), Thymoma (10), and Uveal Melanoma (10) are the ones with most subunits showing co-expression correlation with MYC. Whereas in Liver Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Lung Adenocarcinoma and Ovarian Serous Cystadenocarcinoma, we could not observe any significant correlation of SWI/SNF subunits with MYC. The genes, SMARCC1, ACTB, SMARCD3, BCL11A, ACTL6A and BCL7A found to have a correlated expression with MYC in more than five cancer types reported in supplementary table 5. This evidence concerns the gene ACTB and uveal melanoma.
