Our findings suggested that Nrf2 plays an important role in the regulation of the Sirt3/SOD2 antioxidative pathway, and t-BHQ may be a potential agent to ameliorate radiocontrast-induced nephropathy via activating the Nrf2/Sirt3/SOD2 signaling pathway in vitro and in vivo. This evidence concerns the gene NFE2L2 and kidney disorder.
