We found that in a subset group of patients with combined LEF1high and low Galectin.3, they could have a different disease behavior and we found that LEF1high/Gal.3 low patients with lower blast percentages (p = 0.02) were less likely to be presented with extramedullary disease at diagnosis (p = 0.065), favorable risk (p = 0.01), less likely to carry FLT3-ITD (p = 0.02) and with more rebound thrombocytosis after induction chemotherapy (p = 0.01) versus other groups, Table 4. Here, LGALS3 is linked to thrombocytosis disease.
