Further sub-group analysis of multiple clinic-pathological features of TCGA-LIHC samples in UALCAN database consistently showed elevated transcription level of PRPF3. The expression of PRPF3 was significantly higher in HCC patients than normal controls in subgroup analysis based on gender, age, ethnicity, disease stages, and tumor grade (Figure 2). This evidence concerns the gene PRPF3 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
