In the probe trial of the BM, the photoactivation of pBLA–vCA1 inputs robustly increased time in the target and correct pokes without changing motor ability in APP/PS1 mice, and these improvements in AD memory deficits were significantly abolished by Calb1 downregulation in the vCA1 (Fig. 6m–o).
