Furthermore, patients with possible MAS receiving TCZ had significantly lower serum triglyceride (TG) levels (108 mg/dl vs 148 mg/dl; p < 0.05) (Table 2 and Fig. 1b) and serum C reactive protein (CRP) levels (0.03 mg/dl vs 9.6 mg/dl; p < 0.0001) than the TCZ-untreated patients (Table 2 and Fig. 1c). This evidence concerns the gene CRP and macrophage activation syndrome.
