However, while these genes have been described to be expressed in glioma (Abulrob et al., 2004; Zhao et al., 2017; Zheng et al., 2010), we found the transcriptional levels of WNT6 are not significantly correlated with CAV1 (r = −0.03, P = 0.66) or PLAGL2 (r = 0.07, P = 0.36) in human GBM, and UCA1 and WNT6 are inversely correlated (r = −0.29, P < 0.001).
