BCL2 and colorectal cancer: Indeed, the overexpression of Bcl-2, Bcl-XL, Bcl-w, and Mcl-1 in different cancers, including glioma, neuroblastoma, melanoma, squamous carcinoma, and breast, lung, and colorectal cancer cells, leads to significant increase in their migratory and invasive properties (Sun et al., 2011; Lee et al., 2013; Um, 2016; Young et al., 2016; Trisciuoglio et al., 2017).
