As shown in Figure 1B, in all the considered CPC subsets, we observed significantly higher (p < 0.0001) ROS levels in BS patients with respect to controls (CD34+/CD45−/dim: 14,333 ± 5104 vs. 2549 ± 794; CD34+/CD45−/dim/CD133–: 16,941 ± 7444 vs. 4728 ± 2165; CD34+/CD45−/dim/CD133+: 10,396 ± 3469 vs. 2169 ± 737). The gene discussed is PROM1; the disease is Bloom syndrome.
