Our results demonstrated that coculture with H-1299 NSCLC cells leads to the downregulation of the expression of signal molecules, such as CD40, CD80, CD86, and HLA-DR, on CD1c+ DCs (Figure 4); however, H-1299 is a tumor cell line, and we are not certain whether primary NSCLC cells also suppress the expression of costimulatory molecules on DCs.
