As expected, the results shown that miR-C12 overexpression led to inhibition of caspase 8 mRNA levels by 0.56-fold and 0.39-fold in caspase 8 protein, miR-C12 inhibitor increased caspase 8 mRNA (2.19-fold) and protein levels (1.36-fold) at 24 h post infection (Figures 4C–E).
